Are you an Employer looking to hire?

If you hire a Pathways to Employment program participant, you may be eligible to apply for a $500 hiring incentive. The incentive is available to help with the costs of on-the-job training of your new employee.

At the start of employment, the hiring incentive will be allocated to you.

Employer Eligibility Requirements

  • Provide a full-time position for an eligible participant
  • Be in good standing with WorkSafeBC
  • Must employ the eligible participant for three (3) months
  • Cannot display any current employees
  • EMPLOYERS will NOT QUALIFY if the employee is hired prior to signing up for the program.

How it works:

We are here to help! We will assist you with a short application form and refer participants to you for interviews.

Hire an eligible applicant, at the commencement of full-time employment, a hiring incentive of $500 will be paid to you.

Our project coordinator will assist you and your new employee if any issues arise and ensure the placement is successful.
