Youth Essential Service Worker Certificate

This fully funded, instructor led program is designed to provide students with the necessary skills and knowledge required to secure entry-level positions in community service organizations and agencies.

The program includes courses such as Microsoft Word and Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Mental Illness and Substance Abuse for Frontline Workers, Cultural Awareness, Gender Diversity, Autism and Neurodiversity in the Workplace, FoodSafe Level 1, Trauma-Informed Practice, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention, Mental Health 1st Aid, and Self-Care Series. The orientation session is also provided to provide an overview of CNC student supports, virtual and online learning, and student accounts.
